Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a/an Technical Program Manager located in Milpitas, CA.
Reporting to the Director - Operations Engineering, the Technical Program Manager role involves partnering with the Design & Engineering teams and commercial teams to drive the design, validation and implementation of innovative and cost-effective product solutions of varying scope in order to meet customer requirements from development of conceptual prototypes and architecture thru the NPI phase. The role will work closely with the Director of Program Management to define market and product requirements and provide voice of the market and customer to the design & engineering teams in I&NV.
What a typical day looks like:
  • Drive the execution of product development, contributing technical expertise to product development, coordinating the development of new technologies with technical program engineers, and ensuring program timing and budgets are met
  • Drive definition of products in markets including consumer, industrial, medical, digital health, automotive, enterprise and cloud computing, IoT, etc.
  • Actively identify and assess new product opportunities and initiatives for customer designs and white label products. Work closely with design engineering to extract and develop core product features-advantages-benefits information to drive and support the product marketing strategy.
  • Translate customer's technical needs and requirements to the NPI and CFT teams
  • Knowledge of multiple functional technologies/ processes, industries or functions and understanding of inter-dependencies of such processes at the site
  • Establish and ensure effective achievement of functional strategic plans and objectives for the site and may have P&L responsibilities.
  • Develops plans for structuring and implementing major initiatives
  • Lead program team, including regular team meetings and updates to management.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:
  • Minimum 4+ years of relevant professional experience with a strong background in PCBA, system integrations, and rack integration
  • Experience with SolidWorks or similar CAD tools, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint is required.
  • Advanced functional, technical, and people/process management skills, with strong internal and external customer-relationship capability.
  • Demonstrated mastery across multiple subject areas and industry domains, with deep expertise in relevant functional technologies and processes.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret highly complex technical and business documents.
  • Skilled in responding to sensitive inquiries or complaints with professionalism and sound judgment.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, including writing innovative speeches/articles and delivering persuasive presentations on complex or controversial topics to senior leadership and public groups.
  • Strong analytical abilities, including working with probability, statistical inference, data analysis, and interpreting technical instructions involving abstract or variable conditions.
