WHAT YOU'LL DO:

The Technical Program Manager (TPM) leads the Program Core Team and serves as its battle captain, orchestrating cross-functional execution, technical integration, and accountability. Through deep technical understanding and risk-based decision-making,the TPMdrives alignment, challenges assumptions, and ensures customer commitments are translated into successful outcomes.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead the Program Core Team, driving technical execution, cross-functional integration, customer alignment, accountability, and NPI launch readiness.
  • Build strong customer relationships by understanding businessobjectives, technical needs, decision drivers, and success criteria; support the KAM in developing new business opportunities and preparing customer proposals.
  • Collect, clarify, and translate customer requirements into product requirements, technical scope, PRDs, program plans, and measurable deliverables.
  • Drive solution development with engineering teams by challenging assumptions,facilitatingdesign trade-offs, resolving technical issues, and aligning decisions to customer commitments and program risks.
  • Support DFMEA activities and broader technical risk assessments across design, validation, manufacturability, reliability, supply chain, cost, schedule, and launch readiness.
  • Develop and drive mitigation plans, escalation paths, recovery actions, and decision frameworks to protect customer commitments and launch outcomes.
  • Coordinate engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, sales, business stakeholders, and customers tomaintaintechnical alignment, decision velocity, and execution discipline.
  • Monitor program health through integrated schedules, dependencies, action registers, risk logs, budgets, and customer-facing status reporting in partnership with Project Managers.
  • Travel globally up to 20% to support customer relationship development, requirements reviews, technical reviews, supplier engagement, production readiness, and launch activities.

WHO YOU ARE:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineeringor related discipline, with strong grounding in mechanical, thermal, fluid, or electromechanical product development.
  • 5+ years in technical program management, product development, systems engineering, or NPI execution for complex engineered products.
  • Experience supporting DFMEA, technical risk assessments, root-cause analysis, issue resolution, and mitigation planning.

Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage customer relationships, understand customer needs, and translate requirements into PRDs, technical scope, and executable plans.
  • Strong engineering collaboration skills, with the ability to drive solution trade-offs across design, validation, manufacturability, reliability, cost, and schedule.
  • Excellent communication and influence skills with customers, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality, suppliers, and leadership.
