Job Overview

NearSource Technologies is looking for a Technical Program Manager to lead complex technology programs involving cloud platforms, software development, and cross-functional engineering initiatives. The role will work closely with Product Management, Engineering, UX, and business teams to plan and deliver technical programs from design through implementation. The ideal candidate has experience working with software development teams, understands cloud and distributed systems, and can manage program dependencies, risks, delivery plans, and stakeholder alignment across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technical programs and initiatives from planning and design through implementation and delivery.
  • Develop outcome-focused delivery plans and establish alignment across multiple teams and functions.
  • Partner with engineering leadership and software development teams to define delivery plans, milestones, and priorities.
  • Manage program dependencies, risks, issues, and impediments throughout program execution.
  • Monitor delivery progress and refine plans based on priorities, risks, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate collaboration across Product Management, Engineering, UX, and business teams.
  • Communicate program status, milestones, risks, and achievements to technical and business stakeholders.
  • Identify potential roadblocks and coordinate with teams to resolve delivery challenges.
  • Maintain stakeholder alignment and provide visibility into progress against program objectives.
  • Drive continuous improvement through retrospectives, lessons learned, and improvements to delivery processes.
  • Support the use of program management practices and tools across technical initiatives.

Qualifications

  • 5 to 8 years of experience in Technical Program Management or a similar role within the technology or software industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
    PMP certification.
  • Experience working directly with software development teams on complex, multi-team initiatives.
  • Experience working in Agile software development environments.
