The Technical Program Management Team

The TPM group partners with leaders from Engineering, Product Management, and Design to bring our next generation of security solutions to market. Our teams work with a customer-first mindset, emphasizing rapid iteration, a high degree of ownership, and data-driven decision-making in a fast-paced SaaS environment.

The Senior Technical Program Manager Opportunity

As a Senior Technical Program Manager, you will be driving the planning and delivery of complex, multi-team, cross-functional technical initiatives. You will align team execution with strategic objectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement, operational excellence, and technical innovation across the organization.

What you'll be doing

Program Strategy & Execution

  • Structure and drive large-scale, continuous, or time-bound initiatives by clarifying priorities, enabling execution of deliverables, and defining program process flows.
  • Lead the execution of multi-team technical programs, ensuring alignment across cross-functional groups and delivering results against shared multi-quarter objectives.
  • Extensively navigate interdependencies affecting complex programs, including product/engineering alignment and change management.
  • Take a hands-on, proactive approach to manage dependencies, unblock progress, define timelines, and provide workflow solutions.

Risk Management & Transparency

  • Anticipate and mitigate risks by maintaining close involvement with team goals and challenges, applying past experience to the "big picture."
  • Provide structured communication and updates to senior leadership on status, risks, and delivery progress.
  • Drive effective teamwork and commitment across disparate groups with competing priorities and high ambiguity.

Process Innovation & Leadership

  • Build and maintain alignment across multiple teams to keep a focus on execution and operational excellence.
  • Coach and mentor others inside and outside of your project teams, guiding them on methods and procedures for complex assignments.
  • Collaborate with and influence senior leadership in situations without direct authority.

What you'll bring to the role

  • Experience & Scale (5+ years TPM): Has successfully led cross-organizational programs of moderate-to-high complexity across multiple teams and product/technical areas. Key dimensions:
  • Lifecycle Leadership: Proven track record driving programs through full planning and execution cycles. Actively manages scope changes, replans, and business pivots while maintaining team progress and stakeholder alignment.
  • Program Strategy & Execution: Structures and drives cross-functional programs by incorporating organizational priorities into planning and delivery. Proactively manages dependencies, defines timelines, identifies risks, and implements process improvements to optimize efficiency and velocity.
  •  Risk Management & Transparency: Regularly assesses risk and scope change to highlight potential issues early. Engages management and leadership to mitigate or plan contingencies. Escalates with recommendations and communicates program status clearly to management layers.
  • Leadership via Influence: Effectively leads via influence to drive results, remove blockers, and build commitment across teams without direct authority. Coaches and mentors junior TPMs and team members. Advocates for their team and adjacent teams.
  • Technical Aptitude / Depth: Broad systemic understanding of organizational and technical disciplines. Can articulate how programs align with broader organizational strategy. Leverages domain knowledge to facilitate discussions and drive resolution of technical obstacles.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication. Regularly presents to team and management; beginning to present to executive leadership. Proactively drives clarity, bridges gaps, and escalates with recommendations when needed.
  • Cross-functional Partnership: Has partnered with cross-discipline counterparts (engineers, PMs, designers, QA, architects) across multiple teams to deliver programs. Building relationships with senior leaders (directors, VPs) in Engineering, Product, and adjacent functions.

And extra credit if you have experience in any of the following!

    • Experience working on programs involving security-based applications and/or features.
    • Familiarity with basic IAM concepts (authentication, authorization, SSO, MFA, etc.).
