Weโ€™re looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to support a large-scale cloud modernization initiative focused on data delivery, AI/ML insights, and cross-program coordination. This onsite contract role in California offers the opportunity to lead complex program execution, strengthen governance, and partner with cross-functional teams to keep delivery moving forward.

Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end program management for a specific workstream within a large cloud modernization program.
  • Own program health reporting, including status updates, KPI scorecards, RAID summaries, and dependency tracking.
  • Prepare executive-ready materials such as steering committee decks and monthly sponsor summaries.
  • Track scope, schedule, quality, and resource status, and escalate risks or variances in a timely manner.
  • Maintain program baselines and keep documentation current as priorities and plans evolve.
  • Monitor budget actuals, forecasts, and resource planning in coordination with internal stakeholders.
  • Support cross-program coordination by managing dependencies, escalation paths, and governance routines.
  • Drive planning cadences, milestone reviews, sprint and release planning, and quarterly planning activities.
  • Maintain risk, issue, assumption, and decision logs with clear owners, timelines, and follow-up actions.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to improve delivery quality and remove impediments.
Skills
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management supporting complex technology initiatives.
  • Background in large-scale cloud or infrastructure modernization programs, ideally with data, AI/ML, or infrastructure workstreams.
  • Strong understanding of infrastructure operations, platform provisioning, and IT operations delivery.
  • Experience leading cross-functional programs with multiple teams and vendor partners.
  • Proven ability to manage RAID processes, governance frameworks, and executive reporting.
  • Experience with budget tracking, forecasting, and resource planning in a program environment.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation skills, with confidence working with senior leaders.
  • Hands-on experience with agile delivery practices across multiple teams.
  • Proficiency with program management tools such as Jira, Confluence, Smartsheet, or similar platforms.
  • Ability to work effectively in a structured, fast-moving environment with attention to detail and accountability.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as BigQuery, Looker, Spanner, Kong AI Gateway, or related frameworks.
  • Familiarity with machine learning pipeline delivery and business intelligence modernization programs.
  • PMP, PgMP, or similar program management certification.
