Job Summary
This position will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Medicaid Nurse Aide (MNA) training and State Testing following the guidance of the Department of Medicaid Services (OMS) for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. The primary goal is to provide quality and consistent training in all programs regardless of the type of training
program.
Positions with the KCTCS System Office located in Versailles, KY are term-contract positions, with the expectancy of continuance based on performance.
KCTCS offers a hybrid work schedule with a requirement to be onsite a minimum of 3 days per work week. Hybrid work schedules are subject to periodic review and may be modified or terminated at any time.
Job Duties:
Oversee, and assist in performing, all annual site survey visits for non-Office of Inspector General (OIG)
surveyed programs
Oversee day to day operations -approving and tracking site, clinical site, instructor changes in programs
Process all requests for new MNA training programs in KY
Oversee policy and procedure compliance with training and testing programs
Oversee, and assist as needed, MOI Training to meet the community needs
Review all programs with plans of correction and enforce decertification of programs. Other duties as
assigned
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree and six (6) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Unrestricted KY License as an RN
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree and four (4) years of relevant experience or equivalent.
Additional Skills Requested:
Two years as RN one year in Long Term Care One Year Teaching Adults
Preferred Experience -- Greater than five years as RN Greater than five years supervising or teaching adults
This position will coordinate the MNA auditors providing assignments and follow-up to questions of concerns from auditors of facilities they visit. They will be required to handle complaints from internal or external peers and partners. The will oversee the daily schedule of activities for the Testing and the Training specialists.
