Job description

As the Sr. Manager, Technical Production, you will lead a team responsible for operating, expanding and enhancing, a business critical Localization, Publishing and Media Asset Management ecosystem. Your team will set the standards, processes and workflows that power a streamlined and innovative media globalization engine, and deliver follow-the-sun support to a user-based composed of wide-ranging craft capabilities.
Reporting to the Director, Globalization Technology, you will lead and support a globally distributed group of Media and Publishing Managers that maintain centralized standards enabling scale, reliability, and efficiency. This is a hands-on leadership role requiring deep fluency in the technology stack, user support, workflow creation and operational management of media pipelines in cloud environments.
Your experience managing stakeholder and customer relationships combined with your deep expertise streamlining complex ecosystems will lead an organization where solution-orientation, curiosity and innovation are foundational principles. Your deep fluency in emerging technologies, cloud deployment and AI change management will establish you as a trusted partner for our stakeholders and respected member of the G11N Technology's Leadership team.
Responsibilities:
  • People Leadership: Manage, coach, and build talent across a distributed team of regional Media & Publishing Managers, inspiring and enabling group leaders to own their operations and meet long-term business objectives while strengthening decision-making consistency and championing a culture of innovation
  • Workflow Optimization: Drive the design, deployment, and continuous optimization of end-to-end media workflows, ensuring all automation and custom routing remain aligned within the parameters of our defined technology roadmap
  • Governance & Security: Lead your team in the ownership of operational platform administration, metadata standards, content security protocols, and digital rights management, ensuring global consistency and asset discoverability throughout the content lifecycle
  • Enterprise Content Management: Serve as the core operational engine for Esports & Publishing media-driving the global practices for ingest, processing, rapid clipping, archiving, and global distribution of live and non-live content
  • Operational Self-Sufficiency & Workflow Design: Own the configuration, orchestration, and continuous enhancement of no-code and low-code integrations; empower the Media & Publishing team to be operationally agile by maximizing the ecosystem's existing mechanics to rapidly resolve stakeholder needs and fulfill evolving delivery requirements
  • Feedback Loops & Support: Spearhead the establishment and operation of tight user support structures and feedback loops with platform stakeholders, translating operational pain points into long-term feature requirements prioritized in collaboration with the Ecosystem & Solution Design and Platform teams
  • AI & Innovation: Lead your team in the exploration, validation and iteration on innovative content production solutions (e.g., automated highlight generation, remote editing integrations), with a heavy focus on operational enablement through AI, effective adoption and measurable workflow improvement
  • Follow-the-sun Support: Define, oversee and continuously enhance our 24/7/365 follow-the-sun user support structure and toolset, driving accountability, sustainability resolution speed, and clear service expectations for a globally distributed user base
  • Metrics & Operational Performance: Define and review the operational metrics, operational health indicators, and workflow performance measures that help the team identify friction, improve predictability, and continuously raise the quality and effectiveness of global support and media operations

Required Qualifications:
  • 8+ years of experience in media operations, content technology, or globalization/localization platform management, with at least 4 years in a dedicated people management role coaching and developing distributed teams of managers or senior specialists.
  • Deep craft expertise across Media Asset Management (MAM), content localization pipelines, and digital publishing workflows within a high-volume, global entertainment or broadcast environment.
  • Deep technical expertise in cloud computing architectures (specifically AWS), with a proven track record of leveraging cloud-native services to design, deploy, and scale high-volume media asset pipelines and global distribution workflows.
  • Demonstrated technical maturity in maximizing a hybrid (cloud/on-prem) ecosystem's existing mechanics; proven track record of configuring and orchestrating complex no-code/low-code media workflows while ensuring all localized automations remain elegantly aligned within the parameters of a defined technology roadmap.
  • Strong fluency across the interconnected Globalization Technology spectrum-you possess a deep understanding of what individual Localization, Publishing, and Esports Broadcast teams require, and how to design unified systems that serve them all without losing core operational focus.
  • Hands-on experience establishing and managing international user support frameworks and stakeholder feedback loops, with an innate ability to translate regional operational friction into structured platform requirements.
  • Solid understanding of international content delivery standards, formats and challenges, including multi-language metadata oversight, global asset discoverability, and regional distribution variances.
  • Exceptional capability to navigate ambiguity during organizational transformation, prioritize initiatives ruthlessly, and communicate technical or operational trade-offs clearly to both technical and non-technical cross-functional partners.
  • Experience working with global teams across multiple time zones, with a working knowledge of regional content distribution challenges.

Desired Qualifications:
  • Cross-Cloud & Architecture Certifications: Broad exposure to cross-cloud ecosystem design, including hands-on familiarity with AWS, GCP, or Azure architectures; active industry cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect) are highly preferred
  • In-depth technical familiarity with the EVS ecosystem (including live production servers, storage systems, and content management workflows) to optimize high-performance replay and global asset ingestion.
  • Practical experience supporting large-scale live stream broadcasting environments, including real-time video encoding, transport protocols, and multi-platform distribution architectures.
