Job Title: Assistant Operations Manager – Commercial Roofing & Building Envelope
Reports To: Operations Manager / Director of Operations
Location: Honolulu, HI
Position Type: Full-Time

SALARY RANGE : $80,000.00 - $125,000.00

Key Responsibilities

Service Division Expansion (60%)

  • Drive Growth: Proactively develop and build leads, establish recurring maintenance programs, and promote the department’s repair/service capabilities to building owners and property managers.
  • Estimation & Scoping: Review bids, service requests, and specifications. Assist the Estimating Staffand project teams with accurate pricing for localized service work.
  • Customer Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for service clients, handling inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring exceptional service delivery.

Production Project Support (40%)

  • Project Execution: Assist the Project Management Team in the effective, safe, and profitable execution of large-scale commercial production projects.
  • Resource Coordination: Manage material purchasing, logistics, and inventory control. Ensure smooth handoffs between the sales, service, and production departments.
  • Quality & Safety Control: Monitor job sites to ensure work conforms to specifications, budgets, and established safety regulations (e.g., OSHA compliance).

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Experience: Minimum 3–10 years of experience in commercial roofing or building envelope construction operations.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to manage field crews, coordinate with foremen, and interact directly with clients.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in construction software (e.g., AutoCAD, Bluebeam, or equivalent) and MS Office.
  • Certifications: Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. OSHA 30
