Job description

CTDI is a large-scale Engineering, Repair, and Logistics company that services the country's largest wireless telecommunications providers, as well as the largest High-speed Internet & Cable providers. CTDI has over 11,000 FT US Employees in over 60 world class US Operations. CTDI also has a global footprint with more than 20,000 employees worldwide.
The Operations Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of the warehouse. This position is responsible for managing and coordinating various departments, ensuring smooth workflow, driving P&L results and achieving operational goals. This includes but is not limited to, overseeing production processes, managing budgets, implementing strategies to improve efficiency, and ensuring compliance with company policies and industry regulations.
Shift: 6:00AM-2:30PM, Monday-Friday
Pay: 75-85K DOE, monthly bonus, paid time off, health, dental & vision insurance and 401(k)

Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping, to ensure timely and accurate execution of tasks.
  • Develop and implement operational policies, procedures, and standards to streamline workflow, improve productivity, and enhance overall efficiency.
  • Manage reports, statistical analysis, and daily P&L reporting. This may include participating in daily P&L calls with Corporate management.
  • Monitor inventory levels, track stock movements, and optimize inventory management processes to minimize stock outs, overstock, and inventory holding costs.
  • Responsible for meeting or surpassing daily Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), with accurate reporting that consistently exceeds customer expectations.
  • Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a positive and high-performing team culture.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as logistics, procurement, and customer service, to coordinate warehouse operations and address customer needs and requirements.
  • Communicates effectively with Corporate management and customers to ensure adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs), meeting customer expectations, and promptly resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Engages in employee relations initiatives, promptly addressing and resolving employee concerns to maintain a positive work environment.
  • Provide the next level of support for escalated issues during work shifts.
  • Collaborates with Corporate to facilitate escalations involving corporate resources (IT, network, etc.) for troubleshooting or process improvement purposes.
  • Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and other technology tools to track inventory, monitor performance metrics, and generate reports for analysis and decision-making.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards to maintain a safe working environment for employees and visitors.
  • All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills and Experience
  • Minimum 5+ years of leadership experience (preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced production, manufacturing, distribution, warehousing or service environment), including experience working with P&L/budgets.
  • Proficient in managing a demanding workload, prioritizing tasks and consistently meeting deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Capable of working independently and engaging proactively within the warehouse setting.
  • Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory control software, and MS Office.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate, motivate, and influence individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Effective problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills, with a strategic mindset and a focus on results and continuous improvement.
  • Proficient knowledge of Project Management and the importance of prioritizing deadlines.
  • General knowledge of OSHA Standards.
