Simtra is seeking highly motivated undergraduate or graduate students for our Fall Co-op Program. We look for diverse students with inquisitive minds and the desire to challenge themselves. Our Co-op students work closely with industry professionals and learn quickly how to problem solve on real-world projects that contribute to clinical research and manufacturing processes. In addition to on-the-job experience, we offer learning sessions with top leadership, site visits to local projects and social events.
The Opportunity:
Technical Services is a team of experienced pharmaceutical professionals responsible for the technical onboarding and process development of new drug product projects at Simtra. This includes designing the process(es) required for the new project.
The responsibilities:
The Co-op will work on the following projects:
  • Assisting in technical transfer process for new filling line clients
  • Providing technical transfer support in bringing new building, assets online
  • Drafting of CAD files to develop new prep drawing assemblies
  • Completing client technical service studies
  • Developing framework for collaborative resources within new building

Required qualifications:
  • Pursuing a BS or MS degree in Science or Engineering
  • Strong understanding and experience working with CAD
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Highly motivated, self-driven individual with passion working within pharmaceutical industry
  • Ability to work either independently or collaboratively in a team environment
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
