IT Technical Support IAbout the Role

PADCOM Design & Construction Management Services is seeking an IT Technical Support I to provide helpdesk and technical support services for the Airport Development Group at Los Angeles International Airport.

This role is responsible for troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues, supporting onboarding and offboarding activities, and ensuring timely resolution of IT incidents. The position works closely with staff across multiple airport locations to maintain reliable technology services and support day-to-day business operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to incoming help desk requests and support inquiries.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and system-related issues following established procedures.
  • Analyze, document, and track production outages and IT incidents.
  • Assess severity and impact of incidents and escalate issues when appropriate.
  • Communicate technical issues and resolutions clearly with team members and end users.
  • Submit and manage service requests through ticketing systems such as Freshdesk and ServiceNow.
  • Coordinate employee onboarding and offboarding activities, including account setup and equipment deployment.
  • Perform hardware and software installations, upgrades, and configurations.
  • Support staff relocations and technology deployments throughout airport facilities.
  • Provide IT support for department-sponsored events and special activities.
  • Deliver computer orientation sessions for new employees.
  • Train new team members on departmental processes and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of support activities and resolutions.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
Minimum QualificationsEducation
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred

  • Minimum 5 years of equivalent professional IT support experience
Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience providing technical support and troubleshooting services
  • Experience supporting hardware, software, and network environments
  • Experience managing onboarding and offboarding processes preferred
