Purpose of Your Work:
As a Project Implementation Manager within our Managed Services business unit, you will be responsible for managing complex client projects and internal initiatives. You will act as a customer-facing leader, applying transportation and logistics expertise to drive precise, consistent execution across deliverables, resources, and expectations.

  • Ensure projects adhere to process guidelines and communicate with all project stakeholders
  • Own functional requirements that must be clearly documented, are comprehensive, and easily trackable
  • Analyze and determine project priorities, risks, and requirements for specific tasks
  • Set internal teams' expectations and provide regular progress updates to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Communicate project issue status to management and realistically represent the urgency of issues to be resolved
  • Serve as a liaison between external and internal stakeholders for customer implementation projects
  • Perform client support through weekly status updates, issue resolution, and serve as a knowledge resource
  • Drive effective communication, collaboration, and commitment across internal teams to execute client projects
  • Develop project plans and timelines that balance speed-to-market with best-in-class quality standards based on requirements
  • Support project problem resolution by documenting, collaborating, tracking, and performing timely follow-up to help ensure swift resolution
  • Contribute insights to improve and standardize business processes that enhance customer service, internal reporting, information flow, and organizational planning
  • Leads the daily activities of a project lifecycle through project planning, execution, cutover, and closure
  • Involved in a multitude of simultaneous scoped customer and internal initiatives from tactical to enterprise-wide, with varying levels of technical depth
  • Present complex stories and information to leadership in a concise and effective way, leveraging data, via PowerPoint or other creative presentation means
  • Foster a spirit of urgency and collaboration that fulfills Redwoods' company values

You've Got This?
  • Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, operations management, transportation, business administration, or related field
  • Minimum 2+ years in logistics, transportation, operations, warehousing, or distribution; experience with customer implementation or integration projects desired
  • 1+ years' experience as business analyst or project manager
  • Demonstrated project management skills and project leadership ability required
  • Experience with managing complex project/programs desired
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, able to comprehend and relay complex stories
  • Proven track record of successful problem-solving and critical thinking
  • Demonstrates timely and efficient follow through on deliverables
  • Strong customer service background and the ability to quickly build rapport with customers
  • Proven ability to be dynamic and adaptable to customer needs
  • Enjoys working in a team environment
  • Self-starter, entrepreneurial, high-energy who can take initiative in a fast-moving environment

Work Schedule:
This position is full-time and hybrid Monday-Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM with an hour break, but flexibility is available based on coverage. This position requires onsite presence 50% of the week.
Compensation Range:
Salary Range:
$80,000 - $100,000
This position is eligible to earn annual incentives based on individual and company performance.
The estimated pay range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered will depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the geographical location in which the applicant lives and/or which they will be performing the job.
