Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Epicor Technical Product Manager to join our team. This role is integral to bridging technical expertise with business strategy, ensuring the successful optimization of Epicor ERP solutions to meet organizational goals. The ideal candidate is a dedicated professional with a strong understanding of Epicor ERP systems, translating business needs into technical specifications, understands systems architecture topics like Azure, API, Python scripting, EDI, and has passion for driving technical innovation and continuous improvement. They will also have experience working in custom manufacturing and distribution and understands a Franchise retail operating model.

Pay - $120K + 

Responsibilities:

  • Product Owner who serves as the subject matter expert for Epicor ERP solutions, managing product lifecycle from ideation to deployment and maintenance.
  • Owner of the ERP roadmap and collaborates with the ERP Steering Committee to build it to meet the requirements for the business.
  • Member of the Architecture Review Board to ensure data interchange is effective between different systems.
  • Evaluates and recommends changes to current and future technology system requirements to meet organizational needs.
  • Responsible for the security, architecture and compliance of ERP at California Closets.
  • Plans, and writes up specifications for ERP and software development.
  • Plans, schedules, coordinates with hosting vendor, and monitors patches for multiple environments for our on premise Epicor Kinetic.
  • Coordinate, manage, test, and implement system upgrades, patches, bug fixes, enhancements, and system interfaces.
  • Evaluates new technologies and integrations.
  • Leads the implementation of new organizational processes aligned to technology projects.
  • Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to strict deadlines and budget.
  • Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets.
  • Identifies potential project risk and devises mitigation plans.
  • Create, maintain, and update project-related documentation and status reports.
  • Ensures project and change management procedures are followed to adhere to California Closets' IT General Controls and produces necessary documentation in the event of a SOX audit.
  • Provides support and coordination efforts to other business functions as required.
  • Establishes effective trust-based relationships with stakeholders from different functions and seniority levels, can quickly build credibility and is viewed as the "go-to" person for project related items and issues.
  • Interacts with cross-divisional Executive Leadership team to seek information and communicate about processes and decisions which impact the company's planning process.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Technology, Business, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • 7+ years working with Epicor ERP systems, including management and technical implementations.
  • Expertise in SQL databases, reporting tools, customization techniques, and system integrations related to Epicor ERP.
  • Strong understanding of Accounts Payable automation solutions, and other manufacturing workflow automation tools that integrate with Epicor Kinetic ERP.
  • Strong background in Agile, Scrum, or other project management methodologies.
