Job description

Core4ce is seeking a Technical Engineer (SETA) to support our Springfield, VA team. The ideal candidate can work independently, assess policy and organizational direction, and deliver clear analysis through white papers, briefings, and other products. Responsibilities: * Analyze policy and provide timely written and verbal recommendations.

Evaluate research performance metrics and collaborate with scientific teams. Coordinate test and evaluation activities, including training materials and test plans. * Support the transition of research into operational environments.

Work with IC and DoD partners on research initiatives. Prepare and present technical briefings to technical and non-technical audiences. * Lead and own ongoing analytic tool and semantic infrastructure development across two critical environments.

Plan, track, and report progress on complex technical projects; coordinate technical meetings and working groups. This position is designed to be flexible, with responsibilities evolving to meet business needs and enable individual growth. Qualifications: * 13+ years with a MA/MS or 15+ years with a BA/BS in a relevant discipline.

Active TS/SCI. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong experience in/with: systems architecture decisions and design, requirements analysis and management, integration and testing methodologies, configuration management, developing, analyzing and validating requirements, technical direction and documentation, and deploying containers to cloud environments using OpenShift environment and ISSO processes and requirements.

Strong knowledge of: hardware/software interfaces, networking fundamentals, programming languages such as Python, Java, GitLab, AI/LLM/RAG integration, SPARQL, and RDF/OWL, agile/scrum, backlog leadership, ISSO, development of knowledge models or data graphs, and * development of CI/CD pipelines.
