Job Summary:
Freedom Technology Solutions Group is seeking a highly skilled System Administrator/Cloud Engineer to enhance our existing technical team supporting the advancement of AI/ML/Data Science technologies. The successful candidate will be part of a team that supports the cloud infrastructure for an enterprise environment, requiring a broad knowledge of system administration and automation technologies.
Responsibilities:
• Must have hands-on experience with AWS and Linux in a production environment.
• Experience patching and maintaining system's databases, to include RDS, MySQL, and Oracle
• Proven experience troubleshooting and solving technical problems
• Knowledge of Federated Identity, RBAC, authentication & authorization solution, etc.
• Understanding of secure-cloud configuration, (e.g., CloudTrail, AWS Config), cloud-security technologies (e.g., VPC, Security Groups) and Access Control (IAM).
• Experience with configuration management (e.g., Puppet, Chef, Ansible, CloudFormation, etc.)
• Experience with security, such as NGFW, WAF, SIEM, endpoint security.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment
• Demonstrated on-the-job experience working and solving technical problems independently as a system administrator.
• Experience using a scripting language.
• Demonstrated ability to monitor and troubleshoot enterprise workflow applications, to include: installing, starting, and stopping background processes, analyzing log and event files, and patching and troubleshooting.
• Demonstrated ability creating and managing a virtual infrastructure, such as AWS, Azure, Hyper-V, or VMWare.
• Experience with an enterprise application development language, such as Python, Java, or C#, to include writing simple applications or modifying existing ones.
• An active security clearance with polygraph.
