You will work directly with customers in the field, ensuring system performance meets mission requirements while contributing to the development of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) for deployed solutions. For larger programs, this role may also serve as a senior FSR manager, directing the work of subordinate managers.

Core Responsibilities

  • Perform routine system health checks and provide rapid-response troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues in the field.
  • Utilize specialized diagnostic tools to assess signal integrity, identify interference, and optimize link performance.
  • Provide technical and operational support to customers, ensuring mission needs are fully supported.
  • Develop, refine, and support TTPs for deployed systems.
  • Conduct "over-the-shoulder" (OTS) training for military or government personnel on system operation, basic maintenance, and troubleshooting.
  • Identify, document, and resolve technical and functional issues, ensuring accurate reporting and knowledge transfer.
  • For large programs, serve as a senior FSR manager and oversee subordinate FSR managers.

Technical Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of RF theory, including frequency deconfliction, modulation schemes, and antenna propagation.
  • Proven expertise troubleshooting RF transmission paths, including coaxial cabling, waveguides, and fiber-optic interconnects.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware, software applications, operating systems, and basic networking.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a strong customer-service mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and accurately document technical issues and solutions.

Requirements

  • Security Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance required.
  • Mobility: Ability to deploy OCONUS to hazardous or austere environments for extended periods
  • Willingness to support a rotational schedule consisting of 3-month deployments within the CENTCOM Aread of Responsibility 9AOR), followed by 3-month assignments at the Sterling, VA work site.
