ABOUT THE ROLE & TEAM:
Univision Chicago is seeking for a Technical Director with skills in broadcast/media management and technical operations. This position will require work on nights, weekends and holidays.
Rate: $39.00/H
YOUR DAY-DAY:
  • Effective operation and execution, but not limited to, of the following:
  • Direct all elements of on-air elements, audio, and video of a station television program or segment
  • Blocking, coding of rundown and production execution of a newscast, pre-recorded show, live cut-ins, pre-recorded cut-ins and station ID's
  • Studio Control Operation - Knowledge of Vizrt Graphics Operation Software
  • Technical Direct Live Show - Knowledge of Sony switcher, Sony ELC and Avid ecosystem.
  • Robo-Cam Operation
  • Lighting Operation
  • Non-linear Editing - Knowledge of Avid Media Composer and Media Central editing software.
  • Inbound feed management, prep/processing and routing (Microwave & Satellite) - Knowledge of Avid Capture Recording Equipment.
  • Communication with all departments at station, master control operations hub and sat ops centers
  • Position is represented by NABET-CWA
