Job description

ABOUT THE TEAM 
The Voyager team in Anduril Industries is an engineering and design division with a vast experience in developing innovative computing and communications solutions for the network edge. The team specializes in integrating enterprise networking capabilities from global IT leaders with purpose-built hardware and software platforms designed to meet market demands for the most stringent of environmental requirements.
The Logistics team is responsible for the receipt, handling, and shipping of Voyager and other hardware to and from the Anduril warehouse located at Herndon, VA. This role is vital to the overall success of the Connected Warfare division as nearly all Voyager hardware used for CW efforts passes through the Herndon location en route to resellers and end customers.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for all supply chain management duties in this dynamic, fast-moving role. This position reports to the department lead and will coordinate with many other departments to ensure an efficient daily workflow.
WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Oversees product logistics, including processing, shipping, and receiving
    • Processes incoming orders by entering products into WMS (Warehouse Management System) and records tracking details for Salesforce sync
    • Updates Salesforce with received product details
    • Transports logged products to quality control
    • Prepares packing lists in WMS for project shipments
    • Adds shipping details into Salesforce
    • Communicates with customers when RMAs have been received and processes them in WMS
    • Tags RMA equipment with relevant case number and transports to technical department for repairs
    • Updates Salesforce CRM with RMA date of arrival and location for technical department reference
    • Communicates with customer on shipping location for repaired RMA and provides customer tracking details
    • Uploads and backs up all processed shipping documents to Salesforce
    • Scans all incoming and outgoing orders and tracks shipments across multiple channels
  • Coordinates deliveries and pick-ups using third party freight vendors
  • Organizes and tracks product inventory as it relates to repair parts
  • Removes obsolete parts from inventory based on product lifecycle
  • Conducts monthly inventory cycle count and maintains ideal product stock
  • Creates Salesforce parts requests for reorder of parts and restock upon arrival
  • Helps in planning and maintaining of logistics policies and procedures
  • Resolves problems that are related to transportation and logistics systems

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in logistics management or coordination
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • International shipping experience and experience submitting AES Direct Filing
  • Certificates, licenses and registrations required:
    • IATA DGR and DOT HAZMAT Certification or ability to obtain
    • CLA Certification or ability to obtain
    • Experience using Salesforce
    • Experience using FedEx Ship Manager
    • Proficient knowledge of warehouse management software
    • Knowledge of sales orders and purchase orders
    • Exceptional Microsoft Office Suite skills to include Outlook, Excel, OneDrive,
    • Oracle experience a plus
  • Must be a U.S. Person and able to obtain and maintain a U.S. government security clearance.
  • Must be able to work on-site in Herndon, VA.

  • Requires high level of poise, initiative, tact, professionalism, and diplomacy when dealing with customers and suppliers
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively apply strong self-organization and time management skills, with considerable emphasis on self-initiation, independent decision making, accuracy and follow through on a broad range of support tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively assess situations and make decisions within broadly defined practices and procedures
  • A strong teamwork ethos, maturity, initiative, and dependability and works effectively and tactfully with colleagues at every level of the organization
  • Must have knowledge of the latest mobile, desktop, and VTC technologies
  • Willingness and ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly
