Technical Account Manager - Civil Infrastructure

Position Overview

Autodesk Customer Success is looking for a highly motivated Technical Account Manager to join our Proactive Support organization. In this role, you will support strategic enterprise customers across the Civil Infrastructure sector.

The Technical Account Management team partners with strategic enterprise customers to maximize the value of their Autodesk investment by providing proactive technical guidance, helping customers maintain technically healthy production environments, and enabling them to achieve their business objectives.

As a trusted technical advisor, you will build long-term relationships, proactively identify technical risks, and provide recommendations that improve solution performance, operational health, and long-term success.

We are seeking professionals with deep experience working with Civil Infrastructure design and engineering workflows in enterprise environments.

This role supports organizations delivering transportation, land development, utilities, water, and other infrastructure projects, helping them maximize the value of their Autodesk investment through proactive technical guidance and strategic partnership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the trusted technical advisor for a portfolio of strategic enterprise customers.
  • Establish and maintain strong customer relationships through proactive technical engagement and strategic guidance.
  • Partner with Customer Success Managers (CSMs) and Technical Adoption Specialists (TASs) to execute customer success plans and deliver an exceptional Customer Technical Success experience.
  • Proactively identify technical risks and recommend best practices that improve solution performance, operational health, and long-term customer success.
  • Deliver proactive technical engagement through regular support case reviews, technical health assessments, and recommendations aligned with customer business objectives.
  • Provide technical guidance and recommendations that help customers optimize solution performance, stability, and operational health.
  • Manage priority technical issues and coordinate escalations while monitoring service level compliance.
  • Take a problem management approach to identify trends, address root causes, and recommend continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Partner with customer teams to ensure successful deployment, licensing, configuration, and performance of Autodesk desktop and cloud solutions.
  • Guide customers through key technical events, including major upgrades, migrations, and adoption of new capabilities.
  • Advocate for customer needs by collaborating with Autodesk Support, Product, and Engineering teams to improve technical outcomes and the overall customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Civil Engineering, Civil Infrastructure, Surveying, Transportation Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of experience implementing, supporting, or consulting on Autodesk Civil Infrastructure solutions (including Civil 3D) in enterprise environments.
  • Deep understanding of Civil Infrastructure design workflows, data interoperability, and information exchange across transportation, land development, utilities, water, or related infrastructure projects.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills supporting complex enterprise environments.
  • Experience presenting technical information to both technical and business audiences.
  • Ability to manage multiple customer engagements while effectively prioritizing work.
  • Fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Autodesk Platform Services (APS).
  • Experience with Autodesk Docs and/or Autodesk Construction Cloud supporting infrastructure workflows.
  • Experience with Autodesk Revit is a plus, but not required.
  • Technical consulting and/or enterprise technical project delivery experience with large, complex organizations.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.

Salary transparency

Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based roles, we expect a starting base salary between $76,000 and $136,730. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location, and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
