Quanex is looking for a Technical Writer Intern to join our team located in Rice Lake, Wisconsin.

The Technical Writer Intern will support documentation, process standardization, and communication efforts within our manufacturing operations. This role will work closely with engineering, production, quality, maintenance, and safety teams to create and maintain clear, accurate, and user-friendly technical documentation for plant operations.

Your Credentials

  • Currently pursuing an Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Technical Communication, Engineering, Manufacturing Technology, Industrial Technology, Communications, or a related field
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to understand and communicate technical concepts clearly
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing or industrial environment

The hourly wage for this position is $20 per hour.
