The Portfolio Oversight Administrator is responsible for monitoring and managing the activities of sub-servicers and investor portfolios to ensure they comply with all regulatory and investor requirements. This includes conducting regular loan level analysis, performing assessments, verifying compliance with loan servicing standards, analyzing operational processes, addressing any discrepancies or issues identified, and implementing corrective actions as necessary. Additionally, these functions often involve communicating findings and trends to leadership and working collaboratively with sub-servicers to maintain high standards of service and compliance.
Additionally, this role is responsible for ensuring that mortgage servicing operations are conducted in compliance with regulatory requirements, company policies, and industry best practices. These functions are critical to maintaining the integrity and efficiency of mortgage servicing operations and ensuring that the organization remains compliant with all relevant regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Compliance Monitoring: Performs audits on the Company's sub-servicer's processes.
  • Quality Control: Conducts regular audits and reviews of servicing activities to ensure accuracy and adherence to policies.
  • Risk Management: Verifies that our sub-servicers comply with loan servicing regulations
  • Documentation and Reporting: Reviews, records, and analyzes all findings, and reporting trends.
  • Collaboration: Communicates findings and trends to leadership for remediation and corrective actions with our sub-servicer.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Requirements
Education
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience required.
  • High school diploma or GED required

Experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience general Mortgage Servicing experience
  • Prior experience in Mortgage Servicing auditing preferred

Functional/Technical Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel - including Pivot Tables and V-Lookups
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills
  • Strong PC skills in Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
  • Able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while still ensuring quality work
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changes and collaborate well in a team environment
