Role Overview

Internal title: Treasury Management Team Leader (supervisory)

The Treasury Management Team Leader is responsible for the bank’s cash management, electronic banking and merchant services products, implementation, project management and ongoing client support. This is a “working” Team Lead position.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Oversee the daily operation and management of the Treasury Management team.
  • Manage the sales activities and efforts of the Treasury Management Specialists.
  • Create reporting metrics for Senior Management.
  • Collaborate with other Bank departments on operational issues of the Treasury Management Team.
  • Participate in Bank-wide projects as needed.
  • Provide sales support to Commercial Relationship Managers, including product demonstrations and implementation for complex commercial clients.
  • Administer the bank’s Virtual Check Deposit service: set‑up, client implementation, training, first‑level support, compliance, reporting, and overall product management.
  • Administer the bank’s ACH origination program: set‑up, implementation, training, NACHA compliance, credit‑risk oversight, monthly activity monitoring, first‑level support and overall product management.
  • Administer the bank’s Merchant Services program: set‑up, implementation, training, first‑level support, statements, and overall product management.
  • Provide ongoing customer treasury management education through calls, site visits, and communications on security, new products, and enhancements.
  • Manage the bank’s CDARS/ICS programs: client set‑up, documentation, rollovers, and overall product management.
  • Administer Treasury Management products: set‑up, implementation, and first‑level support. Manage the Account Analysis process for commercial clients, including account set‑up, monthly billing, and ongoing maintenance.
  • Provide support for additional treasury management products (Positive Pay, Lease Security, Lockbox arrangements, Smart Pay, Remit Plus, etc.): implementation, documentation, first‑level support, and overall product management.
  • Support the Commercial Relationship Associate team in providing first‑level support for complex treasury management needs and technical support.
  • Develop and document processes and procedures to improve workflow and ensure compliance with regulations; maintain the department’s Vault page.
  • Actively demonstrate the behaviors outlined in the GRB Experience.
  • Meet expectations in performance, productivity, and quality standards.
  • Use nCino to track and document client interactions and sales activities.
  • Stay current on competitive market conditions, products, and solutions.
  • Hire, train, and motivate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned.
Education and Experience

Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 6 years in banking, including at least 2 years in Treasury Management or similar commercial banking sales or service experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
