Job description

The Director of Investor Relations (or Investor Relations and Treasury) will support the CFO and executive leadership team in building a disciplined, institutional-grade investor communications platform as the company advances toward public company operations. Role reports to the CFO.

This role will focus on earnings preparation, development of investor materials, capital markets analytics, and coordination with external advisors. While the CFO will remain the company’s primary spokesperson to investors, the Director will play a critical behind-the-scenes leadership role to ensure consistency, accuracy, and strategic clarity across all investor-facing communications.

This is an opportunity to help build and scale an investor relations function in a technically sophisticated, highly regulated, and capital-intensive industry.

Key AccountabilitiesEarnings & Disclosure Process
  • Lead quarterly earnings preparation, including timeline management, script drafting, Q&A preparation, and rehearsal coordination.
  • Partner with Finance, Legal, and external IR advisors (ICR) to ensure disciplined, compliant communications.
  • Maintain core investor messaging materials, FAQs, and narrative documents.
  • Support the development of investor presentations, conference materials, and board-level capital markets updates.
Capital Markets Analytics & Positioning
  • Monitor shareholder base composition and trading activity.
  • Analyze investor feedback and synthesize insights for executive leadership.
  • Track peer positioning and valuation frameworks across energy, infrastructure, and advanced technology sectors.
  • Support messaging around project economics, capital strategy, and regulatory milestones.
Investor Engagement Support
  • Coordinate investor meetings, conferences, and non-deal roadshows.
  • Prepare executive briefing materials.
  • Develop familiarity with the institutional investor and analyst community relevant to the company’s sector.
Public Company Readiness & Communications Infrastructure
  • Support FPI/IFRS communications requirements and SEC reporting cadence.
  • Maintain Reg FD discipline and internal disclosure controls.
  • Support the evolution of the company’s shareholder communications toward a disciplined public-company cadence, including helping to standardize messaging, establish structured communication channels, and ensure consistent disclosure practices across a diverse shareholder base.
  • Help institutionalize scalable IR processes and governance frameworks as the company grows.
Treasury, Liquidity and Funding (desirable rather than essential; may be assigned to another finance leadership role)
  • Oversee the Group's liquidity and cash position across all entities, supported by the France-based Treasury Manager, including short- and long-term cash flow forecasting and the liquidity analysis that underpins the going concern assessment; design the Group bank account structure, cash pooling and intercompany funding.
  • Execute and manage the Group's financings with the CFO and Corporate Development (bank facilities, project finance, bridge financing, convertible and equity linked instruments, and post-listing instruments such as SEPA); lead relationships with banks and lenders, negotiate term sheets, covenants and security packages, and monitor covenant compliance and lender reporting.
  • Define and execute the Group's hedging policy for FX (EUR, GBP, USD) and interest rate risk, monitor commodity exposures, set the investment policy for surplus cash and manage bank counterparty and credit risk.
  • Establish the Group treasury policy, delegations of authority, payment controls (segregation of duties, fraud prevention), the treasury management system and bank connectivity, and operate treasury controls within the SOX framework after listing.
QualificationsExperience
  • 7-15 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, investment banking, or capital markets.
  • Experience in energy, utilities, infrastructure, aerospace/defense, nuclear, or other regulated capital-intensive industries preferred.
  • Experience with IFRS and/or Foreign Private Issuer reporting structures strongly preferred.
  • Bilingual English is a plus, specifically proficiency in French and/or Italian.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently manage earnings preparation and investor materials
  • Strong financial acumen, including comfort discussing project IRRs, capital structure, PPAs, and long-duration assets
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High degree of professionalism, discretion, and executive presence
  • Existing relationships within the institutional investor or analyst community are valued but not required.
Role Characteristics

This is not a communications-only position, nor is it a standalone spokesperson role. It is a finance-oriented capital markets position designed to build infrastructure, strengthen disclosure discipline, and support executive leadership as the company scales its public-market presence.

This is a hybrid role and travel is required.
