Position Summary

The Senior Salesforce Technical Architect is a strategic leadership role responsible for bridging business needs with technical execution across the Salesforce ecosystem. This individual leads the design, development, and deployment of scalable Salesforce solutions, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards and business goals. The role involves guiding cross-functional teams, mentoring technical staff, and serving as a trusted advisor to stakeholders. The architect plays a critical role in driving innovation, optimizing platform usage, and ensuring high performance and maintainability of Salesforce applications.

What You'll Do As A Senior Salesforce Technical Architect
  • Design and lead enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions across Field Service, Sales, Service, Marketing, and Experience Clouds, ensuring they meet business objectives and technical standards.
  • Establish and enforce development best practices, coding standards, and governance models, while guiding technical teams through complex architectural decisions.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders and cross-functional teams to translate requirements into robust technical designs, and architect secure, scalable integrations with external platforms.
  • Monitor and optimize system performance, enforce security and compliance protocols, and ensure all Salesforce implementations are scalable, maintainable, and aligned with enterprise architecture.
  • Mentor developers, architects, and administrators, fostering a culture of continuous learning, technical excellence, and innovation across the Salesforce team.
The Experience, Skills, and Abilities Needed.

Required:

  • Four-year degree in Information Technology or equivalent vocational field is required.
  • 10+ years of Salesforce experience, with at least 4 years in an architect role.
  • Proven track record of leading enterprise-level Salesforce implementations.
  • Strong expertise in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce integrations.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools, data migration, and integration tools.
  • Strong understanding of security architecture and identity management.
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
  • Salesforce certified Platform Developer II
  • Salesforce Certified Application Architect.

Preferred:

  • Preferred certifications: Salesforce Certified System Architect, Technical Architect (CTA), Integration Architecture Designer, Certification on Salesforce platform is highly preferred.
