Job Overview

The Senior Accounting Manager will be a hands-on accounting leader responsible for the month-end close, financial reporting, technical accounting, internal controls, and team development within a manufacturing environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Own the month-end and year-end close, including accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting packages.
  • Prepare and review consolidated financial statements and monthly management reporting.
  • Handle technical accounting matters, including GAAP/IFRS, leases, intercompany transactions, and inventory accounting.
  • Analyze financial results, variances, and trends and provide insight to leadership.
  • Maintain and strengthen internal controls and support compliance requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors and support tax compliance activities.
  • Partner with international accounting teams on consolidation and reporting.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop accounting team members while maintaining a hands-on approach.
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting efficiency.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
  • CPA required.
  • 3+ years of people leadership experience.
  • Strong knowledge of US GAAP and IFRS.
  • Consolidation and month-end close experience strongly preferred.
  • Strong Excel and ERP skills; SAP experience preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organization, problem-solving, and technical accounting skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership, manage multiple priorities, and drive continuous improvement.
