Roles & Responsibilities:
As a technician at the Sewell Family of Companies, you will work on a team that values a family-like atmosphere where team members are encouraged to build strong relationships and work collaboratively towards our promise to provide excellent customer service. You will be responsible for tasks such as:
  • Examine, diagnose, and repair vehicles
  • Communicate with service team regarding repairs
  • Provide labor time estimates
  • Monitor repair time and update service advisors regularly
  • Maintain adherence to dealership policies on vehicle care and operation
  • Complete story and/or documentation for client repairs
  • Assist in mentoring technician trainees
  • Attend company and factory training
  • Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations

Skills & Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED (general equivalency diploma)
  • Must be able to lift to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
  • Manufacturer certifications and experience preferred
  • Dealership or automotive repair experience
  • Valid driver license
  • State Inspection license is a plus
  • Completion of drug screening and background screening
  • Provide all government I-9 requirements
