Job description

IT Site Support Technician

Location: Midland, TX

Salary Range $65,000–$85,000

Position Overview

We are seeking an IT Site Support Technician to provide hands-on and remote technical support for a manufacturing facility in Midland, TX. This is a great opportunity for an early-career IT professional who is eager to learn, enjoys troubleshooting, and is comfortable working directly with end users.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide onsite and remote IT support to employees
  • Troubleshoot Windows, Microsoft 365, desktop applications, and common end-user issues
  • Respond to and resolve IT support tickets
  • Set up and support PCs, printers, mobile devices, and other equipment
  • Provide basic support for MacBooks and iOS/iPhone devices
  • Assist with network connectivity and device configuration issues
  • Support monthly new-hire onboarding, including equipment distribution and account setup
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on IT tools and best practices

Qualifications

  • IT support, help desk, desktop support, or related experience;
  • Strong working knowledge of Windows environments and Microsoft 365
  • Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Basic familiarity with MacBooks and iOS devices
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable working independently and asking questions when needed
  • Ability to work onsite in a manufacturing environment and follow required safety procedures

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting users in a manufacturing, industrial, or oil & gas environment
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ticketing systems
  • CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft, or similar certifications
  • Spanish-speaking skills are a plus

Work Environment: This position supports a manufacturing site and may require appropriate PPE, including steel-toe boots, as well as completion of company-provided safety training.
