Job description

The Senior Information Technology Manager will assist in the administration and management of software and hardware systems and processes. This position reviews, analyzes, and evaluates business systems and user needs. Works with the team to identify key project milestones, activities, and ensure project schedules are established. Assists in documenting requirements, defining scope and objectives, and formulating systems to parallel overall business strategies. As a technology manager this position may also support system implementations

Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Primary job functions typically require exercising independent judgment and building teams. Familiar with a variety of field concepts, practices, and procedures. Ensures that company owned information technology resources are used in accordance with corporate standards.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

· Interacts with employees to resolve project related issues.

· Provides status reports and holds project meetings.

· Assists team in identifying problems at the root of several technical issues

· Help team prioritize the latest set of technical issues.

· Drives development and hardware teams.

· Ensures development of all project deliverables in a timely manner, including needed production turnover documentation for on-going operations.

· Able to lead and manage concurrent projects

· Promote responsible usage and care of corporate equipment.

· Oversees internal IT systems and manages with MMIS, IVR, ESA, and future data warehouses.

· Ensures data collection, analysis, reporting system systems support contract operations, and fiduciary responsibilities.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

· Effective communicator with proven leadership skills and abilities

· Ability to analyze, organize, prioritize, implement, and control business activities and transactions.

· In-depth knowledge and experience of Windows Technology and VDI.

· Strong project management background, PMP a plus - familiarity with project management best practices

· Experience in application development, systems administration/engineering or other technical discipline a plus

· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office, online collaboration tools and IM

MINIMUM REQUIRED EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

5+ years experience

Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college in information technology, computer science, information systems, or a closely related field.
