Job Title: Mechanical Helper

Job Description

Join our skilled trades team to assist with the installation of a custom-designed mechanized conveyor system. This role is ideal for individuals with experience in millwright, carpentry, HVAC, repair, or automotive/diesel technology. You will use your skills to move, assemble, dismantle, or install machinery or conveyor systems. The ability to read and execute technical blueprints is essential. Comfort with heights, up to three stories, is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation of mechanized conveyor systems.
• Move, assemble, dismantle, or install machinery and conveyor systems.
• Read and execute tasks according to technical blueprints.
• Work comfortably at heights of up to three stories using a scissor lift.
• Provide and maintain your own set of tools.
• Participate in a demanding work schedule of 10-hour shifts for 21 consecutive days, with a break in the middle.

Essential Skills

• 2-3+ years of construction experience.
• Mechanically inclined
• General Carpentry skills
• Proficiency in reading assembly prints.
• Experience with hand tools, power tools, and steel assembly.
• Experience using a scissor lift.
• Comfort working at heights up to three stories.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Possession of a majority of personal tools.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Work Environment

Work inside the URBN Nuuly warehouse and an industrial facility for the URBN plant in Raymore. The schedule involves 10-hour shifts with a pattern of 10 days on, 1 day off, 10 days on, followed by 9 days off. This project is expected to continue until April 2025.

This is a Contract position based out of Raymore, MO.

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
