About the role
  • We're seeking a motivated, competitive salesperson to join our IT Sales team. The ideal candidate has at least three years of IT sales experience-such as Managed IT services, software, or hardware-and thrives in a team environment.
  • In this role, you'll meet with potential customers, understand their business needs, and propose effective technology solutions. Strong communication skills, organization, and consistent CRM upkeep (we use Salesforce) are essential.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and auto insurance are required, as client visits are a regular part of the job.

What you'll do
  • Prospect for new business opportunities: cold calling, in person visits, data mining on LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and online research.
  • Conduct initial qualifying meeting. Confirm ideal customer criteria and gain a mutual understanding of customer needs and expectations relative to Office Technology offerings and LOC's ability to deliver services to meet those needs
  • Confirm need and gain customer commitment to move forward in the sales process.
  • Develop proposal and presentation strategies to meet and exceed customers' requirements and expectations.
  • Proactively develop new customer contact through networking and prospecting, reviewing leads, and participating in customers' strategic planning sessions.
  • Achieve revenue and profit growth objectives by utilizing a consultative sales approach to secure new customers.
  • Aggressively pursue new accounts and opportunities for new business with existing customers.
  • Keep current on new product developments, market competition and industry trends ' provides feedback as appropriate.

Qualifications
  • 3+ years of successful sales experience, preferably in IT solutions, including Managed IT Services, software, or hardware.
  • Proven ability to prospect, qualify, and close new business using a consultative sales approach.
  • Strong understanding of business technology needs and the ability to translate them into effective solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present confidently to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized with strong time management skills; must be committed to maintaining an accurate, up-to-date CRM (Salesforce) pipeline and activity log.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a team-oriented, collaborative environment.
  • Self-motivated, competitive, and driven to exceed goals and expectations.
  • Comfortable with cold calling, in-person visits, networking, and social media research (LinkedIn, Facebook, X/Twitter).
  • Ability to quickly build rapport, understand customer challenges, and propose tailored technology solutions.
  • Strong business acumen and awareness of current industry trends, competitors, and market developments.
  • Reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and current auto insurance are required.

Compensation
Earn up to $100,000+ in your first year with a compensation package that includes a $60,000 base salary, $550 in monthly reimbursements, and uncapped commission opportunities.
