Job description

Northeast Community College is seeking a full-time Executive Assistant for the Applied Technology division.
This position is eligible for full-time fringe benefits package including:

This is an in-person, on-campus position.
The Applied Technology Executive Assistant provides high-level administrative and programmatic support to the office of the Dean of Applied Technology and divisional staff by performing a variety of administrative support duties. This position serves as the dean's liaison with a variety of constituencies, including college leadership, prospective and current students, alumni, current and prospective donors, college faculty and staff, and the general public. The executive assistant anticipates, initiates, and coordinates departmental priorities, operations, and activities for the dean and divisional leadership, including communications, scheduling, enrollments, purchasing, payroll, inventory, events, meetings, recordkeeping, contracts/agreements, personnel forms, workshops.
Excellent oral and written communication skills; attention to detail; superior organizational skills; and the ability to establish priorities, multi-task, and mediate difficult situations and people are required. Confidentiality, initiative, and the ability to solve problems and to foster a team-oriented environment with a diverse group of individuals are extremely important.
Requirements:
Education: Associate's degree in a related field required.
Experience: One to three years' experience required in a related field.
Skills: Applicant should possess strong attention to detail, work effectively as part of a team, and demonstrate excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
