Objective:

The IT Associate is Responsible for the on-site integration of company information systems, which may include hardware, software, and networking products as well as operating systems. Assist in the installation, implementation, and upgrade of internal systems. Maintains an inventory of all equipment, hardware, software and supplies. Troubleshoots, maintains, and monitors, external and internal hard drives, printers, plotters and scanners. Provides on-site and/or remote installation, implementation, configuration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and*/or repair of desktops, notebooks, printers and associated peripherals. Will also provide continual support to the IT Department and Manager

Essential Functions

  • Assess infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands.
  • Manage daily operations of the IT department.
  • Develop new strategies and IT procedures to increase efficiency, enhance workflow.
  • Coordinate the needs of in-house IT experts and remote employees, vendors and contractors.
  • Protect customer data from outside infiltration through encryption, secure data storage and other necessary means.
  • Assist with the installation of new hardware and software and help train employees on its use.
  • Manage and oversee departmental quotas.
  • Offer suggestions for possible upgrades and changes within the IT department.
  • Review the terms and conditions of contracts.
  • Review and confirm IT invoices; analysis purchases.
  • Check the condition of the IT infrastructure on a regular basis.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree with information Technology focus, or Technical Degree combined with relevant work experience.
  • 3+ plus years of experience in IT Infrastructure operations and with project management
  • Software/Hardware Troubleshooting & Setup
  • Efficient IT Assent Management
  • Communication Skills
