Job description

Job Summary:
The Part-Time Repair Tech Associate provides hands-on customer service by assisting with lamp repairs, screen repair and fabrication, glass and plexiglass cutting, and key duplication. This position requires attention to detail, dependability, safe use of tools and equipment, and a commitment to providing friendly and efficient service to customers. The associate will work Friday and Saturday from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
  • Repair lamps and assist customers with lamp-related services.
  • Make and repair window and door screens.
  • Cut glass and plexiglass accurately according to customer specifications.
  • Make and duplicate keys.
  • Assist customers with service requests and provide helpful, courteous service.
  • Safely operate and maintain service-area tools and equipment.
  • Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines.
  • Keep the service area clean, organized, and properly stocked.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience with repairs, glass cutting, screen repair, key cutting, or similar services is a plus but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Comfortable working with tools and equipment.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
  • Ability to safely lift and handle materials as needed.
