Job description

 

Highland Hospital is seeking a Full Time Xray Tech Aid to work Sunday -Friday from 10:30pm-6:30am.. Xray Tech Aide assists with efficient patient flow by assisting Technologist and RNs. 
Essential Job Duties include:

  • Monitors patient schedule.
  • Ensures patient flow
  • Monitors Radiology Information System to maximize patient flow
  • Answers phone and takes messages as appropriate
  • Stocks linen and supplies as needed and monitors expiration dates (monthly)
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort
  • Assist with transferring patients on and off scanning table
  • Assist with checking in patients
  • Navigate patients throughout continuum of care.
  • Escort/Transport patients to/from ED/waiting/procedure areas.
  • Assist technologist & nurse with preparation & completion of procedures
  • Places stretcher in lowest position and maintains safe height for stretcher during transfer.
  • Change scanning bed attachments per technologist direction
  • Place socks on patients

Salary Range:
$17.70 - $22.92 an hour
