We care for children ages 6 weeks to 4 years old, focusing on play-based learning, creativity, and developmentally appropriate activities that support emotional, social, and cognitive growth.

Position Overview

MacNChz is hiring a Childcare Staff Aide to join our team 24 to 36 hours per week. This role supports daily childcare operations by helping supervise children, assisting with routines, facilitating early learning activities, and maintaining a safe and structured environment. This position is ideal for candidates interested in early childhood education, daycare, preschool, or infant care.

Daily Responsibilities

  • Provide active supervision of infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children
     
  • Assist with diapering, toileting, meals, snacks, and nap routines
     
  • Support early learning activities including crafts, music, reading, and play-based education
     
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized childcare environment
     
  • Provide positive guidance and nurturing care
     
  • Support outdoor play and physical activities
     
  • Communicate respectfully with parents and team members
     
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation policies
     
  • Document daily updates using the Brightwheel childcare app
     

Qualifications

  • Minimum age of 17 years old
     
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
     
  • Ability to pass background check and fingerprinting
     
  • Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
     
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
     
  • Ability to support continuity of care and consistent routines for children
     
  • Basic computer and technology skills
     
  • Experience in childcare, daycare, preschool, nannying, medical or early childhood education preferred
