THIS POSITION OFFERS AN EXCELLENT OPPORTUNITY FOR COLLEGE STUDENTS OR RECENT GRADS WHO ARE LOOKING TO GAIN HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH YOUNG CHILDREN IN AN ESTABLISHED CHILDCARE CENTER! The Teacher's Aide will support infant, toddler and preschool classrooms by assisting teachers in creating a positive and productive learning environment. Working under the direct supervision of the classroom Teacher and Center Director, this role focuses on helping with educating students in small class settings.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with classroom activities, play, and instruction
  • Support communication between teachers and students
  • Help maintain classroom order and manage student behavior
  • Provide individual support to students as directed
  • Monitor and assist students during transitions and activities
