Job description

Begin your next chapter supporting students as a Special Education Teacher in a rewarding contract role for the upcoming school year. This opportunity offers the chance to make a significant impact across multiple middle school classrooms, collaborating with other dedicated Resource Specialist Program teachers. The position is designed for someone who thrives within a dynamic and supportive educational environment and can effectively manage a diverse caseload.

Key Details:

  • Start date is August 10th or as soon as possible; position continues through June 3rd
  • Full-time schedule, Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week
  • Roving role working collaboratively with other RSP teachers across settings
  • Caseload of approximately 28 middle school students

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher certification for California
  • Demonstrated experience in elementary or middle school special education settings
  • Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills
  • Ability to adapt instructional strategies to meet students’ individual needs
