Join our team to provide quality support for special education students in a Minnesota School system supporting K-12 students. The Part-Time Dape Teacher will provide specialized physical education instrcution to students with disabilities in small group settings. This position focuses on implementing IEP goals and objectives. This position will start August 24th and will run till December 22nd. PAY:SCHEDULE:

  • This is a PartTime Opportunity
  • Monday Friday (daily for 2 hours)
  • This school services Level 4 special education population
REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • MN teaching license in Adapted Physical Education (or eligible for licensure)
  • 1+ year teaching experience (preferred)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Conducts small group and individualized instruction in adapted physical education, utilizing differentiated teaching strategies.
  • Teaches knowledge and skills in physical fitness, health education, and individual or team sports, using state standards.
  • Designs and implements developmentally appropriate activities that address motor, cognitive, and socialemotional needs.
  • Monitors and documents student progress toward IEP goals and objectives using curriculumbased measurement and observation data.
  • Conducts formal and informal assessments to track motor skill development and physical fitness.
