Through TNTP Teaching Fellows, you will elevate your academic or professional expertise into a high-impact career as an educator. No prior teaching experience is required.

Full Salary and Benefits: Teaching Fellows begin earning a full teacher's salary, plus comprehensive benefits. While pursuing certification, Fellows start working full-time in their own classroom at a district or charter school at the beginning of the 2026-27 school year.
Eligibility Requirements
Qualifications and eligibility for TNTP's Teaching Fellows programs:
  • Must have bachelor's degree by June 2026
  • Must currently be authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
  • Must not be a licensed teacher (exception for Teach Minnesota)
  • Must have a minimum 2.2 cumulative undergraduate GPA*
