Note: this position is an internship for a Ludwigsburg, Germany college student studying education. The position is for one semester only.
Position Title & Description
German Language Immersion
Teaching Assistant (Kindergarten / First Grade)
  • Fluency in German (written and spoken) is required.
  • Experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.

We are seeking a German Teaching Assistant who will work closely with elementary students, primarily in kindergarten and first grade, as they are exposed to core subject areas while immersed in German. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the lead teacher in implementing engaging and interactive lessons that align with the North Carolina Curriculum standards. Additionally, the candidate will contribute to creating a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment that promotes the academic, social, and emotional growth of students.
