Position Summary
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic educator who is passionate about teaching English while serving as a positive role model and supporting the mission of Catholic education. The ideal candidate will foster a love of learning, create a welcoming classroom environment, and inspire students to grow academically, socially, and spiritually.
Responsibilities
The successful candidate will
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate English Language Arts lessons that foster a love of reading, writing, literature, and critical thinking.
  • Create a positive, nurturing classroom environment where students feel encouraged to participate, express themselves, and succeed.
  • Assess student learning through a variety of formative and summative assessments, providing timely, constructive feedback to students and families.
  • Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs and abilities of all students.
  • Inspire students to become confident readers, thoughtful writers, and effective communicators while recognizing their achievements and supporting them through challenges.
  • Maintain effective classroom management while fostering respect, responsibility, collaboration, and Christian values.
  • Collaborate with faculty, staff, and parents to support the academic, social, and spiritual growth of each student.
  • Participate in faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and school activities.
