What job makes $10,000 a month without a degree?

A tax worker typically does not earn $10,000 a month without a degree; such high earnings are more common in specialized fields like sales, real estate, or entrepreneurship. Some self-employed professionals or business owners can reach this income level through commissions, investments, or owning a business, but these often require experience, skills, or capital rather than formal education. Most jobs with consistent $10,000 monthly income generally involve advanced skills, certifications, or entrepreneurial ventures.

Senior tax managers and tax directors typically earn the highest salaries among tax-related roles, often exceeding six figures annually. These positions require extensive experience, advanced certifications like CPA or EA, and strong knowledge of tax laws and regulations. High-level consulting or specialized advisory roles in large firms can also offer top compensation in the tax field.

Can I be a tax preparer with no experience?

Tax preparers can often start with little to no experience, but they typically need to complete training or certification, such as IRS tax preparer courses or obtaining a Preparer Tax Identification Number (PTIN). Developing skills in tax software and understanding tax laws can improve job prospects and performance in this role.
