Summary:
The Client Coordinator assists the Client Manager and Client Executive with client questions, proposals, marketing, rate spreadsheeting, sales and service support including claims resolution.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Respond timely to Client Manager and Client Executive requests
  • Handle incoming calls from assigned clients regarding benefit questions, claim issues, eligibility, billing and other support issues.
  • Coordinate with medical and ancillary carriers to ensure the timely resolution of client issues
  • Marketing of cases for existing business renewals and new business; marketing function include gathering census & experience information, plan designs, rates and previous carrier information
  • Review marketing options from carriers and provide plan options, based upon client needs, via a proposal spreadsheet
  • Work with carriers to ensure the timely processing of case submissions; work with carriers to ensure ID cards are received by the client in a timely fashion
  • Support Client Manager with enrollment materials, information and presentations for meetings with clients
  • Support other team members and take calls when other team members are unavailable
  • Provide backup support to Client Manager
  • Proof proposals and benefit summaries for other team members
  • Attend client meetings when necessary
  • Serve as back-up to Office Administrator upon request

Required Experience:
  • Must have a BA/BS degree and at least 2 years of Benefits experience.
  • Working knowledge of insurance products and usage.
  • Intermediate knowledge of computer and word processing programs such as Microsoft Office Programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Confident with setting priorities and prioritizing as required to manage workflow.
  • Ability to work independently from others with little supervision.
  • Collaborate within a team environment.
  • Work well and stay calm head under times of stress.
  • Ability to take direction from multiple authority figures.

Position Type and Expected Work Hours:
This is a full-time position. The associate must work 40.0 hours each week to maintain full-time status. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00 pm, with some flexibility in hours.
Compensation and Benefits:
This is an exempt position, and the approximate salary range is $55,000 - $75,000. Please note the range provided is a good faith estimate at the time of the posting. Actual compensation within that range is based on a wide variety of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to, individual qualifications, depth of experience, knowledge, skills, applicable certifications, and physical work location(s).
