Job Summary: We are looking for a Sales Manager to join our growing team! The right candidate will have a track-record of hitting goals and be enthusiastic about training and leading others. Day-to-day tasks include overseeing a team of sales people and supporting our customers. Used Vehicle manager experience is required for this position.

The Automotive Sales Manager is responsible for leading, coaching, and motivating the sales team to achieve vehicle sales volume, gross profit, and customer satisfaction targets. This role oversees daily showroom operations, implements effective sales strategies, and ensures compliance with dealership policies and manufacturer standards.


 Key Responsibilities
  • Lead, train, and motivate the sales team to meet and exceed sales and gross profit goals

  • Manage daily sales operations, including desk management and deal structuring

  • Monitor individual and team performance; conduct regular coaching and performance reviews

  • Ensure exceptional customer experience and resolve escalated customer concerns

  • Implement and execute dealership sales processes and best practices

  • Analyze sales reports, market trends, and inventory to maximize profitability

  • Collaborate with F&I, service, and marketing teams to optimize dealership performance

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, and manufacturer regulations

  • Maintain strong product knowledge and oversee ongoing sales training initiatives


 Qualifications

Required:

  •  3+ years in a dealership management role

  • Proven track record of achieving sales and profitability goals

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills

  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions

  • Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record

Preferred:

  • Experience with CRM and DMS systems ie: eLeads and Dealertrack
