Become an Energy Delivery / Distribrution, Senior Advisor (TUG Task Force) at Southern California Edison (SCE) and build a better tomorrow. In this job, you'll serve as a trusted strategic leader supporting the delivery of Southern California Edison's Targeted Undergrounding (TUG) program and Wildfire Rebuild Strategy, which is focused on addressing wildfire risk by undergrounding overhead electric infrastructure in High Fire Risk Areas. In this role, the Senior Advisor helps shape program strategy, drive cross-functional alignment, enhance performance visibility, and improve end-to-end execution across planning, permitting, construction, and stakeholder engagement, without direct day-to-day operational ownership. The role is exciting because it operates at the intersection of public safety, grid resilience, and large-scale capital delivery-offering a unique opportunity to influence how one of SCE's most critical and high-impact wildfire mitigation programs is executed today and scaled for the future.

Responsibilities
  • Implements new analytical techniques to move beyond traditional energy delivery system planning problems, developing and implementing processes that support and improve the execution of construction, maintenance, and inspection activities.
  • Participates in the design and analysis of new programs to improve the company's reliability.
  • Diagnoses and resolves engineering complaints to improve customer satisfaction and circuit reliability. Ensures compliance with all safety, training and auditable guidelines, policies, practices, organization standards and government regulations.
  • Oversees in-depth analysis, developing recommendations that support the organization and addressing technical concerns.
  • Enables proper execution of risk management requirements related to pursuits including review of contracts, fees, and proposals in conformance with risk review requirements.
  • Plans, directs and coordinates activities to prevent energy service interruptions and minimize the impact and restoration time of service interruptions.
  • Participates in process design and modification for continuous business improvement, creating data collection frameworks for structured and unstructured data.
  • Oversees project/program budgets and drives accountability.
  • A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Ten years of experience in energy delivery/distribution
  • Possess a valid Class C Driver's License

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business
  • 10+ years' experience in Electrical Utility Planning & Design
  • Experience developing and delivering technical presentations to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with developing, implementing and tracking project lifecycle and milestones

Additional Information
  • This position's work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
