WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Task Force General Manager

We're searching an experienced and highly adaptable Task Force General Manager to provide immediate, short-term leadership support across our portfolio of hotels. This role is ideal for a results-driven hospitality professional who thrives in fast-paced environments and can quickly step in to stabilize operations, lead teams, lead sales and drive performance. Some of what you'll do includes:

  • Coordinate planning and execution of activities with supervisors in regards to timetables, work schedules, etc.
  • Determines the workforce, recruitment and hiring of new staff
  • Provide leadership support and direction to team members
  • Responsible for all hotel cash flow
  • Must have working knowledge of specific property management systems used at the property
  • Maintain high standard of hospitality and service
  • Maintain high visibility throughout the property
  • Solicit business within different market segments via tele-prospecting and outside sales calls
  • Maintenance of accounts with existing contacts to maintain rapport and develop future business; Develop and maintain relationships with key clients in order to produce group business, to include room sales, F&B sales and catering/banquet services.
  • Attendance of networking events; Develop and maintain good relationships with officials and representatives of local community groups, companies and trade organizations, and attend local and out of town meetings and conventions in order to generate sales for the hotel.
  • Conduct site tours
  • Upkeep of customer database via Brand CRM Software
  • Develop contracts and follow up with customers
  • Requires excellent communication skills
  • Travel is required
