General Summary: To assist case management staff with daily duties
Principal Duties and Responsibilities: 1. Reviews and enters work participation hours for accuracy and eligibility of work participation incentives and program compliance
2. Aides case management staff with data entry, home visits and intake of new clients
3. Refers clients to tribal and community resources 4. Secures supplementary information including, but not limited to,
employment, medical records or school reports
5. Keep a current log of participants showing accurate and updated records in the TANF system
6. Prepare and send correspondence to participants regarding TANF case issues
7. Work with case management staff for eligibility of participants 8. Conduct phone calls to participants and work sites, employers and schools
to verify work participation hours 9. Other duties as assigned
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma/ GED with 1 year experience in customer service and social service office setting. Able to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Must be organized and able to multitask.
Preferred Requirements: Minimum requirements plus 2 years' experience.
