Job description

The responsibilities of this position include managing daily CIS maintenance and data input to ensure accurate validation of customer, relationship, demographic and related data elements.  This position demands both technical proficiency and a clear understanding of operational workflows that influence data accuracy and completeness.  This role involves managing more complex corrective actions appropriate to the responsibilities at this level.


  • Lead, supervise, train and develop a team of specialists responsible for maintaining the IBS CIS application in an accurate and optimized state.
  • Provide and oversee quality assurance, focusing on exception handling related to failed or incomplete automated data loads from source application feeds.
  • Receive and fulfill CIS maintenance and input requests from various areas of the bank.
  • Comply with established standards and policies set forth by the CIS oversight team.
  • Establish a cohesive team environment focused on achieving critical organizational goals.    
  • Participate in planning and status meetings with the Chief Data Officer’s CIS oversight team and IT Applications CIS Business Analysts.
  • Provide guidance and subject-matter expertise for problems, questions, best practices, trends, root cause analysis, and exception handling.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

  • Must have at least one of the following:
    • Bachelor’s degree with one year of banking and/or operations experience.
    • Associate’s degree with two years of banking and/or operations experience.
    • High School diploma or GED four years of banking and/or operations experience
  • Minimum of 3 years management or leadership experience in a corporate environment
  • Working knowledge of essential computer and technical skills and functions
  • Knowledge of business and banking systems and applications
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and leadership capabilities
  • Skilled in critical thinking with effective problem-solving skills
  • Ability to foster a collaborative team environment focused on shared goals
  • 7+ years of experience in an operational or customer equivalent related field in banking preferred
  • Experience with IBS CIS is desirable preferred
  • College Degree preferred and/or Community College associate degree preferred

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions: Must be able to sit for long periods of time and use computer keyboard and/or mouse, while viewing computer screens.
