Job description

Job Summary:

Responsiblefor safe part handling, mold operations as directed, post mold operations andsecondary operations to
producea quality part.

This position is for 1st shift: Monday-Friday with some Saturdays: 7:30am-4:00pm

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Removeparts from press.
  • Partquality - attention to detail during part production or secondary work
  • Receive training and follow operator instructions during molding or assembly
  • Communicates when a part does not match approved sample
  • Install preloads or other items as necessary for the molding process
  • Trim or assemble or otherwise prepare parts to specification.
  • Package parts in correct fashion and to correct count.
  • Record job specifics and scrap totals on tally sheets
  • Utilize computer for time recording and job assignment accounting.
  • Clean work area.
  • Awareness of regulatory and customer requirements as it pertains to Omega'sclients, especially for Omega's
    medicalclients (ref. ISO13485)

Essential Functions:

Workperformed in an office and manufacturing plant environment. Normal mobility tomove around anoffice environment, able to conduct normal amount of work at a computer.Frequently exposed to varyingtemperatures within plant depending upon external weather conditions.Frequently walks, stands,grips/grasps, bends/stoops, crouches, and lifts and carries up to fifty-five(55) pounds routinelythroughout the day.

Onsite: Thisrole is required to be on-site 5-6 days at the Clinton Township,MI location.
