Job description

Job Title: HR Manager Location: Tulsa, OK Type: Direct Hire Compensation: $100-130K Contractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite System One has partnered with a growing manufacturing organization in their search for an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead and support all aspects of human resources operations. This role will partner closely with leadership to develop and implement HR strategies that support business objectives, employee engagement, workforce planning, compliance, and talent development.

The ideal candidate will have prior HR leadership experience within a manufacturing environment and a strong understanding of employment laws, employee relations, recruiting, performance management, and organizational development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day human resources operations and provide strategic HR support to management and employees.
  • Oversee recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and workforce planning.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership on employee relations, performance management, and personnel matters.
  • Develop and implement HR policies, procedures, and programs that align with company goals and regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Administer employee benefits, compensation programs, leave management, and performance review processes.
  • Support employee engagement initiatives, retention strategies, and organizational culture development.
  • Partner with operations leaders to address staffing needs, succession planning, and talent development.
  • Investigate and resolve employee relations concerns while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Maintain HR records, reporting, and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Coordinate training and development programs to support employee growth and operational excellence.
  • Assist with safety initiatives and collaborate with management to promote a safe workplace culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • 5+ years of progressive Human Resources experience, including leadership responsibilities.
  • Previous HR experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or production environment required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, employee relations, and HR best practices.
  • Experience supporting both hourly and salaried employee populations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
